The shorter-haul, regional less-than-truckload (LTL) market is seeing much of the good fortune that their longer-haul brethren have been experiencing over the last six months.

Indeed, the regionals are also investing heavily in IT and labor and are most certainly feeling the push to diversify services to accommodate the shorter, more frequent delivery demands of the digital economy.
