The United States ’s reported today that the national average price per gallon for diesel gasoline saw a steep increase this week.
Rising 7.2 cents, the national diesel average now stands at $3.385 per gallon. This marks the seventh consecutive week of increases during which time the average has gone up a cumulative 17.8 cents.
Compared to the same week a year ago, the average is up 60.9 cents.
West Texas Intermediate Crude oil is currently trading at $74.10 per barrel
